Stereostatic Brain Biopsy 7.15.20

Out of the biopsy. Beat the outlier 5% possible death - so that’s a win!

It was wild being awake. I was talking to everyone in the ER while they were drilling into my head - pretty sure they were having a drillbit problem - that was really the only unnerving part - seemed to be some confusion and take longer than planned to drill the hole - surreal experience though. #hardheaded

At one point they put a towel across my face... i think they were trying to shut me up. 

I was mostly talking to all of them about food. The other good thing is that i feel fine now because i didn’t have full anesthesia. I don’t even have to stay over in the hospital. Hotel in Durham that night and back to Charlotte on Friday.! And because I wasn’t under, I got to dive right into some questionable meatloaf. My request for bourbon and a donut was denied. but the doc did clear me for a glass of wine.

Pathology back in about a week then we learn the course of treatment.
